Another Blunder
Argentine Roberto Abbodanzieri plays a goal-kick to Gabriel Heinze. The Manchester United man is caught on his heels, mis-controls and gifts the ball to Francisco Fonseca (Mexico) before hacking down the striker. It is only a yellow card, with referee Massimo Busacca pointing at Roberto Ayala as being the last defender (30 yrds away). A lucky escape and doesn't Ricardo La Volpe know it. Should have been a straight Red no doubt terrible tackle and a sure goal otherwise

Terrible decision and cost Mexico the game sadly. It was so clearly a red, Ayala wouldn't have got to him in time, Heinze had to go for that challenge. Poor refereeing on that terms.
I thought it was an excellent game to watch, the referee let the game flow at times ; made some petty decisions still but not as much as others have. He also booked a player that shouldn't have been booked and had he booked the correct player he'd of gone off having recieved a yellow later on.
Good game, Argentina and Spain have the best squads at this world cup easily, the talent and options is endless.
That was the best world cup game so far imo.2 goals in the first ten minutes made me think it was going to be a shootout, but no still a very entertaining game none the less.To be honest Im kinda happy that Heinze did'nt see red because Mexico might have won being a man up.Take nothing away from Mexico they played a hell of a game. Now comes the matchup I really wanted to see Argentina vs zGermans. If there was ever a time to cheer for a Chelsea player(not on England) its now.I hope Crespo can knock a few in and send them out of the tourney.
peace
Great game I think we all agree on that. Your right a red card does ruin a game and even though I thought a red card should have been used im kinda glad it wasnt. Arg vs Ger will be a cracker as they say and I also am looking forward to that one. Thanks guys for your imput. Keep it up.
